AI Automation? Not So Fast!
As someone who has been in the marketing / digital world full-time since 2007 one thing that has makes Socially Delivered Agency different is that we don't do much automation.
We never have.
It has been our true differentiator to post and respond to our clients for us to work in real time!
In 2025, we now getting bombarded with requests to try AI automation for our clients. My answer is no. No. NO! You might get invited to do this as well, and the temptation is there, but trust me, don’t do it. Not yet.
I get many invite notes in my inbox and many of them are done by AI (I can tell!) The information is wrong, or "off" and it sounds...well, robotic. And your posts and content will sound robotic if you automate with AI at least in the near future.
I always used to say.. if everyone automated no one would see each other's posts. I still stand by that. We do use AI as a support tool and it has so many helpful features but it isn't quite there yet in terms of managing everything. Things are moving fast... let's see what is on the next horizon.
Takeaways:
Authenticity Matters: Real-time posting and responses create genuine connections with your audience. This is what social is all about. .
Human Touch WINS: In a sea of automated content, personalized, timely interactions make your brand relatable and not automated feeling.
Flexibility In Real Time: Real-time management allows for immediate responses and pivots, especially during LIVE pop culture events like The Superbowl or Wimbledon.
Quality Over Quantity WINS: I remember the days when people were posting automatically every hour on the hour on Twitter (now X). I didn’t like it then and I don’t like it now. With our concierge team going LIVE in real time we have a competitive edge.
